MOU-Memorandum of understanding November 20, 2007.                                                                   On October 5th, 2007 SEPCO Asia Group Plc has signed a memorandum of understanding with PTT Public Company Limited and Electricity Generating Public Company Limited (EGCO Group) regarding a study of possibility to improve Phuket landscape by converting municipal solid waste to energy. This is an investment among the three companies. Mr Visit, EGCO Managing Director said the group had also agreed with PTT Plc and UK-Based SEPCO a waste treatment operator, to invest US$20 million to built power plant fuelled by trash in Phuket. The corporate entity will be established with Thai Partners holding a majority share. The plant will generate 20 MW of electricity with SEPCO acting as the supplier of environment expertise…..”(Bangkok Post 22nd August 2007)
